Assignment Capsule
In this role you will lead a team of professionals in reviewing actual and proposed pharmaceutical recommendations against established Pharmacy policies and guidelines.
- Manage network participation, care with specialty networks, providers and using your knowledge of pharmacy plan design.
- Recommend services for Humana Plan members utilizing alternatives available within the community and nationally.
- Identify potentially unnecessary services and care delivery settings, and recommend alternatives if appropriate by analyzing clinical protocols.
- Examine clinical programs information to identify members for specific case management and / or disease management activities or interventions by utilizing established screening criteria.
- Conduct secondary pharmacy review, on escalations.

Role Essentials
- Must have an active Pharmacist license in the state(s) in which you are required to practice
<</ul> - Prior demonstrated success working in Pharmacy Operations in a retail or clinical setting

- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy

Reporting Relationships
You will report to a Director within the Pharmacy Department. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
